About Me

Hey guys! My name is Lindsay Beynon, for any of you new followers, and I am originally from Massachusetts. Currently I am living in Idaho with my amazing husband while attending Brigham Young University-Idaho. When I first made this big move out here to the West and left all I knew behind, I was a little hesitant to allow myself to find joy and beauty in my new place of residence. This year I have decided to change that, and ever since I have been realizing all of the potential that Idaho has to offer, and this "New Englander" is seeing the beauty found only in the West!

A little background on me...I was an only child up until I was 10 when my dad remarried to a wonderful woman with 5 children previous and then having 2 of their own. I quickly became part of a big family and I am forever grateful for that experience because I learned so much from it! My mom just has little ole' me to worry about and so she and her boyfriend are constantly trying to spoil me and my husband.

I've been married to my best friend now since April of 2010. Over the past few years we have learned and grown together in ways I never knew were possible, and I am so excited for the many years to come. We love being active together, traveling (something that we will experience more later down the road when the REAL money starts coming in!), reading, watching movies, going for LONG DRIVES, etc. etc. I guess we basically enjoy doing almost everything together. We have a little dog named Sketch and he brings a lot of laughter into our lives with all of the cute and weird things he does!

My husband and I both go to school for art, YAY, and you can read all about that in the "art" tab!

I probably have a million and one hobbies and I am constantly trying to juggle all of my "want-to-dos" with my "need-to-dos." I LOVE fitness and nutrition. I love, and am grateful, that I have a body that is fully capable of doing almost anything that I decide to put it through. I love exercise and I LOVE finding ways to make healthy delicious food that other people don't think is "weird" (HAHA)! Last year I found a real love for running, I really enjoy yoga, and I am currently trying to push myself into new regions of the exercise world. I really enjoy cleaning, is that weird? I just feel the stress fall off my shoulders when I walk into a nice clean home. :) I really enjoy cooking and can't wait for the day that I have the kitchen of my dreams! Hiking makes me happy. I really enjoy connecting with nature and taking a step out of this phenomenal technologically advanced world to admire the beauties that surround me. Like I said, I have a whole list of things I enjoy, but I feel like this is starting to sound like a dating service and that's just a little odd! ;)

That's just a little summary of me, but I want this blog to be much more than just me. I hope to be able to share art that moves you, recipes that make your mouth water, exciting ways to exercise, and show you what my husband and I do to keep the positivity rolling in our lives! ENJOY. :)
